Cinema has always been about more than what happens on the screen.
Throughout the year, we bring our community together through special events designed to create meaningful connections beyond our regular screenings.
Many of our gatherings take place at Zubyria Retreat in the village of Litochky, just outside Kyiv. There, we host countryside picnics, seasonal celebrations, shared meals, and film screenings at the local House of Culture, creating a unique opportunity to experience cinema in a completely different setting.
These events are also our way of supporting and celebrating rural Ukraine. By bringing people to Litochky, collaborating with local residents, and hosting cultural events in the village, we hope to contribute to its continued life and development while offering our community a welcome escape from the city.
Many of our members first join us for a film and stay for the community. We welcome new faces and believe some of the best conversations happen long after the credits roll.
